Hi there, great to meet you!  My name is Stephanie, I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and Founder and Clinical Director of Clear Mind Counseling San Diego, a private practice committed to enhancing psychological well-being through evidence-based methodologies. With a focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT).   I specialize in issues related to anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and executive coaching.

Having served over 3,000 clients since 2008, my expertise in CBT enables me to guide individuals and couples towards transformative shifts in thought and behavior. My application of SFT empowers clients to leverage their innate strengths, facilitating constructive pathways to resolution.

Beyond my clinical practice, I am deeply invested in the progression of the field of psychotherapy and I aim to leave a meaningful impact on both my clients and the therapists under my supervision.

Changing the way we act affects the way we feel and the way we view ourselves. Said differently, action precedes insight. If we only fixate on the root causes of our challenges and always question why we behave as we do, then all we’re really doing is stagnating and avoiding the changes needed to improve ourselves.

My style is casual, engaging, and approachable because trust between a patient and therapist is built through genuine interactions, honesty, and transparency. I encourage positive change in a kind and gentle manner yet can also be very direct when necessary. My goal is to create an inviting and safe place where you can break through your personal barriers and leave feeling empowered and optimistic about your future.
