Mallory Mincberg, LPCC #12810

Hi! I’m Mallory and I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). My goal for therapy is to create a safe, compassionate space where you feel less alone. I understand that starting therapy can feel intimidating, but I believe healing happens through connection and insight. I use a warm, collaborative approach to help clients reframe unhelpful thoughts and beliefs, regulate difficult emotions, manage stress, and build healthier relationships.

My work is to sit with clients as they navigate challenges that arise; I specialize in trauma, suicidal thoughts, obsessive-compulsive disorder, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship struggles. In my practice I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and Attachment Theory; I like to use whatever tools might be most helpful.

I value authenticity, empathy, and curiosity, and I see therapy as a place where real growth and self-discovery can occur. If you’re seeking clarity about who you are, why you feel stuck, or what changes you want to make, I’m here to help you recognize patterns, set meaningful goals, and take active steps toward a more fulfilling life.

MY APPROACH

MY PHILOSOPHY ON THE THERAPEUTIC EXPERIENCE AND CHANGE

I know that change happens when clients feel safe, understood, and supported as they explore the patterns that keep them feeling stuck. My role is to provide a compassionate, authentic presence while also gently challenging clients to reframe unhelpful patterns and take meaningful steps toward the life they want to create.

I strive to bring warmth, curiosity, and even humor into the therapy space. Together, we identify what matters most to you and use evidence-based approaches to build the tools and insight needed to support lasting change. While therapy often begins with addressing painful experiences such as trauma, depression, or anxiety, I also see it as a space to uncover strengths, nurture resilience, and deepen self-understanding.

At its heart, I believe therapy is about creating clarity and cultivating connection—both with yourself and with others. My goal is to help you move toward greater balance, healthier relationships, and a stronger sense of who you are, so that change feels not only possible but sustainable.

Ensuring a good fit between therapist and client is crucial for successful therapy. We offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to see if we're a good match. Taking this FIRST step to seek support is important, and we are honored to guide you on your path towards healing and personal growth.

When someone really hears you without passing judgment on you, without trying to take responsibility for you, without trying to mold you, it feels damn good.
