Hi, I’m Mallory, and I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). I’m part of Clear Mind Counseling’s San Diego therapy team, where my goal is to create a safe, compassionate space where you feel less alone and supported as you navigate life’s challenges.
I understand that starting therapy can feel intimidating, and I believe that healing happens through connection, insight, and collaboration. I take a warm, supportive approach to help clients reframe unhelpful thoughts and beliefs, regulate difficult emotions, manage stress, and build healthier relationships.
I specialize in working with individuals navigating trauma, suicidal thoughts, obsessive-compulsive disorder, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship challenges. In my practice, I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and Attachment Theory, using the tools that best support each client’s unique needs.
I value authenticity, empathy, and curiosity, and I see therapy as a space for meaningful growth and self-discovery. If you’re seeking clarity around who you are, why you feel stuck, or what changes you want to make, I’m here to help you recognize patterns, set meaningful goals, and take active steps toward a more fulfilling life.

MY APPROACH
MY PHILOSOPHY ON THE THERAPEUTIC EXPERIENCE AND CHANGE
I know that change happens when clients feel safe, understood, and supported as they explore the patterns that keep them feeling stuck. My role is to provide a compassionate, authentic presence while also gently challenging clients to reframe unhelpful patterns and take meaningful steps toward the life they want to create.
I strive to bring warmth, curiosity, and even humor into the therapy space. Together, we identify what matters most to you and use evidence-based approaches to build the tools and insight needed to support lasting change. While therapy often begins with addressing painful experiences such as trauma, depression, or anxiety, I also see it as a space to uncover strengths, nurture resilience, and deepen self-understanding.
At its heart, I believe therapy is about creating clarity and cultivating connection—both with yourself and with others. My goal is to help you move toward greater balance, healthier relationships, and a stronger sense of who you are, so that change feels not only possible but sustainable.
